Contemporary architecture - laminate in the exterior of castle gardens
The castle gardens, which surround the castle on three sides, offer a peaceful place to relax. The French Garden adjacent to the east wing not only offers a view of the Church of the Holy Cross and the Regional Museum, but also access to the castle arcades and the Castle Cellars. In the northeast corner of the garden you will find the Salet, a secret place of summer fun.
The natural English park with play elements for children, which are part of the Litomšlení programme, invites not only for walks but also for unusual and exceptional moments. Breakfast on the grass, the deckchair view and the real highlight of romance is a wedding in the castle park. After extensive reconstruction as part of the Chateau Hill Revitalisation Project, the park has been given a number of modern architectural features by the HŠH studio, which attract a lot of attention from visitors. Come and sit on the laminate from which the original benches are made, or take a boat ride on the laminate stream.
