The Castle Hill will celebrate the European Heritage Days with unusual guided tours. Visitors will experience a journey back in time in the footsteps of the Piarist Order and will have the opportunity to explore the hidden places of Chateau Hill.
On Friday, 7 September at 17:00, interested visitors will follow in the footsteps of the Order of Pious Schools. They will discover the motives that led the founders of the Order to their magnificent work, the vicissitudes that the Piarists experienced when they came to Bohemia, and the ingenious system of education in their time. He will also learn where the Piarists are today and how we are continuing their traditions. Meet in front of the Piarist church, discounted admission 50 CZK.
On Saturday 8 September from 14:00, visitors will have the opportunity to literally "explore" all the hidden and normally inaccessible corners of the Chateau Hill and visit the mysterious corners of the Piarist church, look into the bell tower or see the background of the Baroque chateau grounds. During the European Heritage Days, the Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross will have extended opening hours. It will be open on 7 September and 8 September from 10.00 to 22.00 and on 9 September from 10.00 to 18.00. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the Angels on the Hill exhibit and climb the lookout between the towers at a discounted price on these days.
