LITOMYŠL / Coworking Kočárovna on the Castle Hill in Litomyšl is expecting an autumn full of interesting courses and lectures. You can look forward to yoga, improvisation courses, English conversation classes, training for businessmen, a course in vector graphics or a workshop on the practical use of social networks for marketing purposes. As part of the popular Wine with... programme, you will meet an imagemaker and a professional marketer who will teach you how to sell your idea.
"The autumn programme at Coworking Carriage House will be really busy and some may find it difficult to choose from the wide range of options. Fortunately, the courses are arranged in such a way that it is possible to catch everything," explains David Zandler - director of the contributory organisation Zámecké návrší, which takes care of the operation of the coworking centre - with a smile. "All courses start around 6 pm. This is an ideal time that follows the opening hours of the centre and allows people to make a comfortable transition from work. Although people living quite far away, for example in Nové Město na Moravě, also come to the courses organised by us, which of course is a testament to their popularity," continues David Zandler.
Mondays will traditionally be devoted to yoga. This course is led and organized by experienced teacher Anna Doubravová, and as she says, it is a yoga inspired by Litomyšl. Come for peace and relaxation. Tuesday evenings you can spend with the Palettes. This improvisation group has invented and successfully implements an intensive course of improvisation skills for beginners. It is the most effective method of self-development, and you will have a lot of fun. Every fortnight on Wednesdays you can come to the coworking room and talk in English. Betty's English tea time starts at 5:00 sharp. In a relaxed atmosphere over tea, you can develop your conversational skills and learn the latest news from Castle Hill. A little later on Wednesday, Lukáš Suchý will give his course. He has named it Notes for Salesmen and the autumn topics cover etiquette, negotiation, people management, presentation skills, networking, time management and priorities. Lukáš is a real pro and some people commute over two hours to his courses. Those who can't make it to his course can go for wine with Lukáš. On Wednesday, November 28, he will give a lecture on "How to sell your idea" at 6 pm in the coworking space. Graphics without a graphic designer, that's the name of the four-part course you can attend on Thursdays starting in October, where you will learn how to use the free graphics program Inkscape. You'll discover that you really don't need a professional graphic designer for everything, and that making a nice flyer, for example, isn't hard at all. The course on graphics will be followed by "Social Networking in Practice" from November. In this workshop you will try your hand at creating, for example, paid advertisements on your real project. Not only will you learn how to do social media marketing, but you'll also leave with your own campaign up and running and tested.
Coworking Carriage House is also a meeting place for entrepreneurs. Every fortnight on Thursday you can get invited to an entrepreneur breakfast. On Monday, October 1, at 6:00 pm, we will have wine with Veronika Marešová. This young and likeable lady makes her living as an imagemaker and claims that appearance is a reflection of our character and self-confidence. What exactly does the concept of image mean, what does it influence in our lives and how can we use it to enhance our personality? Veronika will explain the differences and connections in the perception of inner and outer beauty. She will show us the tools to connect these two parts to be in harmony with our values, attitude to life, personal and professional life. He will share with us the experiences of an imagemaker in practice, which will help you to consolidate your style to make it unique and memorable for you.
